After snack we lined up to go to the All Saints playground. We played there for awhile and then came in to make our Pizzas to eat for lunch. We took half of the children to make theirs while the others played in the centers, then we switched. Mrs. Bertram read the book called " Dinner with Olivia" by Emily Sollinger.  God and Me was about How to Behave!  Our prayer was: Dear God, I'm sorry for being rude and disobedient.  Help me to love my mom and dad and do what they ask me and what my teachers ask me. Amen. We then went up for lunch. They loved the their own pizzas that they made for themselves.

Started the day playing in centers. Put our sunscreen on for the day. Mrs. Bertram read the book called "The Grouchy Ladybug" by Eric Carle. We did a few of the morning jobs and went up for snack. After snack we lined up to go outside to the All Saints play ground to play and ride trikes on the black top.  The kids enjoyed that very much plus it wasn't too hot so they didn't get as tired as quick.  Came in for lunch but before lunch Mrs. Bertram read the book called " If You Give a Cat a Cupcake" by Laura Numeroff. God and Me was about Naughty Ella!  It talked about why it is important to listen to Mom and Dad and we through in Teachers as well.  The moment fit perfectly because we were having some problems with listening ears. Then we dismissed for lunch. After lunch Mrs. Bertram read the book called "The Night Eater" by Ana Juan. The children then laid down for nap.

Today started our Summer schedule. We will be spending more time outside then we do during the school year. Which then means we put on our sunscreen daily to keep safe.  Today was a little different. Normally it is movie day but since it is such a beautiful day we choose to do our neighborhood walk today and we will do movie day on Thursday.  We do have 2 helpers from All Saints again this summer Ms. Erika and Ms. Genevieve.   We played in centers this morning. Ms. Erika read the book called "It's Great to Keep Calm" by Jordan Collins.  We went up for snack and then took off outside. We walked around the neighborhood and saw Mrs. Conger outside with her daycare kids and stopped to chat with her for a bit.  Mrs. Conger allowed us to pick some rhubarb and we will eventually use it in a recipe on cooking day.  We then went to the All Saints playground to play before lunch. Once inside we listened to the book on cd called "Shark in the Dark" by Peter Bently. God and Me was about Starting School. Sometime we are afraid to start new schools but it is good to have kind friends to help you through. It talked about a friend name Sophie promised her friend Emily that she would walk with her to school everyday and play with her at recess. She kept her promise and when we do that we are like God because he always keeps His promises.

We had a great day today at Teddy Bear Club. It's the First of a new month so that means our toys got switched out. We played in centers until it was time for our story. The we read was called "The Dandelion Seed" by Joseph Anthony. After the story, we ate snack. One friend shared cookies with all the friends for his last day here. We went outside and played in the side yard. When we came back inside, we read "Do Unto Otters: A Book About Manners" by Laurie Keller. Our God and Me devotion today was about appreciating God for our bodies and what we are capable of doing with them. We ate our pizza lunch, another friend had shared cookies then, for it was her last day, too. After lunch, we went to the All Saints playgroung for recess. Some of us played a variation of tag and others played Hot and Cold! Have a great weekend!
